Straight Blast Gym of Kalispell fighter Jen Johnson pulled off a 40 second technical knockout win over Elsya Prescher of Slap Happy MMA of Sheridan Wyoming. Johnnson’s win at this Fusion Fight League event brings her amateur MMA record to 2 wins and 1 loss overall.
The fight ended very shortly into the first round. Johnson’s amateur boxing experience was immediately apparent as every punch she threw landed on her opponent. As Prescher reached out to try to tie up in a clinch position Johnson threw a devastating knee to her opponent’s stomach. Prescher immediately folded and Johnson closed the distance to finish with more punches to the head. The referee then called a stop to the fight declaring Johnson the winner by TKO.
Johnson and her teammates anticipate fighting at the all women’s Fusion Fight League Event scheduled for April 2nd in Billings.
