Prehab, Not Rehab
Many of our students come to us when they need to rehab an injury. Knees, backs, shoulders, necks – we see it all! The adventurous lifestyle of the average Montanan inevitably leads to injuries. Our instructors are skilled and trained to work with rehabilitating and injury. But most importantly our program reduces the risk the likelihood of them happening, so you can stay on the move.
Sometimes you just need some time to yourself. You’re not going to relieve your stress by stressing about it more or dwelling on it. Taking 2-3 hours each week to focus on your body and still your mind gives you the peace you need to face those challenges with a clear mind and a fresh perspective.

What is Iyengar Yoga?
Straight Blast Gym focuses its yoga teaching on the method set out by BKS Iyengar.
Iyengar Yoga is a systematized and dynamic method of learning yoga postures with emphasis on alignment and stability. It is adaptable to each individual’s needs and abilities so that every body who walks in the door can practice.
With the use of props and specific instruction, each class is sequenced so that the student is a able to learn safely and confidently all aspects of yoga.
For students looking to deepen their practice, the Iyengar system covers the complete transformative and holistic nature of yoga, not just emphasizing the physical, on-the-mat practice. It teaches the philosophical, mental, and emotional aspects of yoga as well that may benefit a student in life.
Straight Blast Gym is dedicated to providing well-trained and dedicated instructors. That’s why we have 6 certified Iyengar instructors on staff with 2-3 more in training to meet the growing needs of our students.
